playing telephone

There was an explosion in downtown SF this morning, but that's not the point of this post. When I came into the office, my co-worker told me that she heard that a bomb went off outside of the Charles Schwab building, and that two people were dead.

This happened only minutes before I came in, so it took a while to find info online. But, when the news finally came out, what happened was that some underground electrical issue caused an explosion and blew a manhole, one woman was injured, and the Ralph Lauren store caught fire.

Not that that's not news in itself, but its just interesting how things get blown out of proportion via hearsay - no pun intended.

For details on the explosion, check out the
article.
