deja vu, encore.

I had an eerie sense of deja vu today when I got off the bus, and realized that I couldn't start my car. Of course, by the time I got to my car, it was pouring rain - whereas it'd been clear all week, and only sprinkling most of the day.

It hit me while I sat in my car, in the rain, waiting for rescue.

Luckily, Thuy and John were home, and John came and jumped me - again, in the pouring rain.

I was so annoyed that I caved to an urge for tomato soup and a grilled cheese-and-bologna sandwich. Now I'm 7 points in the hole, despite working out at 8am.

I am also in massive pain - again, deja vu - after I got my teeth drilled. I went in today to replace the temporary crowns put in in Dec with the real ones, and now that the novacaine is wearing off, I am not happy. Thankfully, I still have my stash of vicodin from the first time around, although its taking an awfully long time to kick in. Even though I was complaining about feeling like Mary Jo Buttafuoco before, I wish I was still numb and drooling.

Ugh. I'd better frakkin' LOVE snowboarding, considering I just dropped ~$300 on clothes for the ski trip this weekend - clothes I may potentially only wear once!

And its not even all that cute/matchy! The pants are ok - actually, they are kind of cool - but the "base" shirt? I managed to find one solid white one, but the other one in black has some sort of ugly stripey things going down the front. There was a super cute fleece vest, but of course they didn't have my size, and I could only find small gloves in black. On top of which, the hat is a shade off from the fleece, and I'm not even convinced I want a hat.

I mean, its one thing to blow oodles of cash at Nordy's for a pair of shoes I'll only wear once, but Sports Basement?!? At this point, I plan on going to Tahoe every friggin' weekend to get the value out of my purchase! If it wasn't for the fact that I once got deathly ill from wearing inappropriate clothes skiing (falling on snow, melting), I would just wear my gym clothes and call it a day.

Grrrrr.

i'm in love!

This Superbowl Sunday, I met quite possibly the most adorable boy alive... Sebastian Alvarez! I knew from the pics that Laura and Isidro sent out that he was cute. But he was even cuter in person!

(Ok, sorry, you're going to have to listen to me squeal and coo and squeal some more - with exclamation marks!)

*Sigh* I'm not really too old for him, am I?







Seriously - how is it possible for a baby to be that cute? If my kids are even half that adorable, I'm never going to be able to stop looking at them!

I just got Sarah McLachlan's Bloom Remix album off of iTunes, and I'm addicted to Just Like Me, a funky song she did with DMC. Amazing! I can't stop listening to it.
